The trends have come and gone, from the 70s full bush to the 90s Brazilian. It’s 2023 and of course, everyone should shave whatever they fancy, when they fancy. This guide will give you the low down if you decide that you’d like a little less fluff around your muff, here are some things to keep in mind.
Why do we have pubic hair in the first place?
Turns out our bushes have quite a busy role to play. It helps regulate genital temperature, reduce friction during sex and exercise and even prevent the transmission of bacteria. It really is a fairy godmother after all. That said, if you choose to shave it, it’s no big deal.
What is the best way to remove pubic hair?
You might be wondering if shaving is the best option for you? Maybe you prefer waxing! And that works too! There are pros and cons to both options. Waxing involves applying hot or cold wax to the skin and then removing it along with the hair. First and foremost, many find waxing rather painful, but the hair stays away a little longer, as it removes hair from the root. For waxing, there is also the need for regrowth before waxing again. When shaving, you need to do it more often as hair grows back quickly, but you don’t need to pay a salon or ask a friend to do it. Whatever you choose to do, is up to you! Whether you wax, shave, laser or leave it, all that matters is that you are happy and comfortable. Also, a little stubble has never killed anyone, so don’t stress too much about it.
