Say hi to Ebba Körlof Sundberg, our Copy Lead. 👋 We asked Ebba a bit more about herself and her Estrid journey.

How would you describe the culture?
Warm, inclusive and ever-evolving! We work hard to grow both as a company and as individuals, and we really do it together. I love that feeling of one for all, all for one that we have here at Estrid.



What are you excited about right now?
I’m all butterflies about our upcoming campaign that I sort of, kind of want to tell you ALL about - but can’t for obvious reasons. Rest assured, It’s going to be amazing.

Leadership behaviors

The leadership behaviours are our core. We look to them as a guide for our actions, and we consider them the seeds for our growth. It’s what we live and breathe, basically- so lay an extra eye on them if you’re interested in joining Estrid.

The hiring journey

Unbiased recruiting

A gut feeling is usually a good thing, but not when it comes to expanding our team. When we hire we focus on potential and competence, that’s why some parts of our process are done anonymously, with the support of assessment partners. Our tests, take about 15 min each. There is one logic test and one personality test both set up by an external partner.

If we think your profile matches our requirements we’ll send you a link to the tests as a first step in the process.

Waiting time

Waiting sucks, but some things just can’t be rushed. We do our utmost to ensure that the process is as frictionless as possible and provide candidates with an answer as soon as we can for all steps in the hiring journey. Sometimes the sheer amount of applications or some unforeseen change in our growing company makes us lag behind and the waiting time will be a lil’ bit longer. But, we will always get back to you. 💜

Case

Getting the right person, at the right time, for the right position is not an easy thing to do. Finding people that can master the Estrid way is tricky. To make sure we understand your full potential we might use a case as a part of the final step of our recruitment process. It’s basically there to make it easier for us to understand your skills and for you to be able to fill in any potential gaps in your portfolio or experiences. Nothing too fancy or complicated, and nothing that takes hours and hours to complete. Just something that gives us an idea of you as our next colleague, and for you to get a sense of what you will be doing if you join us.

This request will only be sent to the final applicants. The case is only viewed for recruiting purposes and never shared internally.

Tackle the nerves

Nervous about your interview? That’s totally okay. Our best tip is just to be yourself, and come as you are :) No need to worry about being all suited up or anything like that. We think that you being you is more than enough.

Collect the Q’s

Prepare yourself with your burning questions, because we won’t be the only ones asking stuff. Hit us with whatever you got. Like, do we have an office dog? How would we describe the culture? How well equipped is our cookie cabinet? Hey, no question is too stupid to ask.

Getting a no

Maybe things didn’t work out this time. A no doesn’t mean that we didn’t like your personality, or that something went south during your interview. It just means that right now it wasn’t a perfect match. Maybe the timing was off or we needed a very specific skill set. You’ll do other great things instead!
