We started our CSR initiative HumanKind to collaborate with inspiring humans who fight for our shared values and represent an inclusive future. With the initiative, we want to give people the support they need to bring their projects and dreams to life.

Check out our HumanKind ambassadors and their projects below. The applications for the Open Grant are now closed and we’re currently going through them to pick a winner. The winner will be announced on October 28th.

HumanKind ambassadors

Estrid

Nadine Noor

Nadine is a creative and co-founder of monthly club night Pxssy Palace, a platform celebrating people of colour who are women, queer, intersex, non-binary and trans (QTIPOC).

Nadine will be using the HumanKind grant to expand Pxssy Palace, and offer QTIPOC individuals a place of love, self-expression and mutual learning. They will also use the grant to sustain and preserve what they’ve created in Pxssy Palace over the years, giving them the opportunity to expand the collective’s offering into the community, beyond the confines of the club.

Harnaam Kaur

Harnaam is a model and social activist, who self-defines as a ‘body positive warrior’. On her platform, she shares her journey with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a condition affecting women’s hormones, which often results in ‘irregular’ hair growth. Harnaam was bullied for her body hair as a teen, but at 16 she decided to dismiss the ignorant comments and embrace her body for what it was. And with that, she decided to grow out not only her body hair - but also, her beard.

Harnaam will be using the grant to host sessions for those experiencing PCOS, giving them the tools and confidence they need to succeed in their day-to-day lives.

Estrid

Kenny Ethan Jones

Kenny is a Trans model, writer and activist. Through his work with Mermaids, a charity supporting transgender, non-binary and gender diverse young people and their families, he dreams of attaining equality for all people who identify as trans. Kenny also fronted a campaign for Pink Parcel, where he made history as the first man ever to front a period campaign.

Kenny will use the HumanKind grant to work closely with Mermaids to host events this year for trans youth and their families to connect, build confidence and learn through shared experience.
