How does Estrid work?

Estrid is the easiest, smoothest and most hassle-free way to shave. Let us explain: we’ll deliver everything you need for the ultimate shave, straight to your doorstep! After we’ve delivered your Estrid starter kit which includes an ergonomic Estrid handle, a holder and two five-blade cartridges you will receive four five-blade cartridges as often (or little) as you like. Adjust, skip or cancel your orders at any time. Oh, and one last thing — you always get free delivery with Estrid.

How do I adjust my orders?

It’s easy! You can modify, skip or cancel your plan at any time on your Account Page. If you need help, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on (hello@estrid.com) – we’ll sort out any issues in no time.

How do I replace the blade cartridge from my handle?

Good question! To get a fresh blade cartridge on your handle, follow these simple steps:

1. Push the Estrid button forward to release the old blade.
2. Make sure your new blade is facing the right way up (white strip turned down).
3. Hold your blade cartridge by the edges (careful now!)
4. Push the handle slowly and firmly into the middle of the blade until it clicks into place. Done!

How often should I change my blade?

For a tip-top shave every time, we recommend replacing your blade every 5-7 shaves. (Don’t forget to store your razor in our holder in between shaves to keep and fresh and dry!)

How long will my order take to arrive?

The Estrid Starter Kit order is processed immediately upon sign up — the first shipment usually arrives within 4-7 business days. Recurring shipments are determined by your original sign-up date and how frequently you wish to have blades delivered. All subsequent shipments usually arrive between 4-7 business days of your shipment date.

What exactly is a shave plan and how does it work?

Your shave plan is basically a luxurious way of getting everything you need for a smooth shave delivered (free of charge of course) right to your doorstep without any hassle and lots of freedom to change, cancel or modify your orders. Sounds great? It is.

How many blade cartridges will I receive in each shipment?

You’ll receive two blade cartridges in your Estrid Starter Kit and four five-blade cartridges in every on-going shipment. Tell us how often you want to receive shipments and we’ll take care of the rest. Free delivery, always.

How many blades are in your cartridges?

Each razor cartridge has five premium-steel blades for the smoothest and closest shave possible.

How do I modify or cancel my shave plan?

Can I buy a starter kit without signing up for a plan?

Our Estrid starter kits are only available with a shaving plan. We know you’re going to love the Estrid experience but if you want to take a break we’ll understand and make it easy for you to leave, no strings attached. Love is complicated.

How often should I change my blade cartridge?

For the ultimate smoothest shave every time, we recommend replacing your blade every 5-7 shaves. Remember to stack your razor on your special Estrid holder in between shaves so it keeps dry and fresh!

What’s the difference between men’s and women’s razor cartridges?

The same difference between a British and an American tomato — none!
The blades are manufactured in the same way so there is no difference when it comes to the actual blades. However — women tend to shave more on larger areas of the body, having to navigate around more angles and curves. That is why the Estrid handle is ergonomically designed for more movement and angles of the grip.

Do your blades contain nickel?

Nope, our blades are completely nickel-free!

Where are your products made?

Our blades are made in the U.S and our handle is designed by top Swedish industrial designers, and then manufactured in China. We have carefully selected our partners, making sure that they are on top of their respective fields. All to ensure that we have created the best-quality shaving supplies and body care products for you.

How does the razor holder work?

Amazingly! Just attach it to a flat surface in the bathroom and it will keep your razor clean, dry and in tip-top shape!

Do you test your products on animals?

Never! We love our furry (and hairy) friends, which is why we are completely vegan and cruelty-free.
