The Estrid journey
Inclusivity. Disruption. Playfulness. While the hair removal industry is dominated by the big guys who’ve been around for over a hundred years, we’re on a mission to serve up something a little (okay, a lot ) different. We’re unapologetically inclusive, always body positive, and dedicated to making your personal care routine fun, easy and vegan. No matter your gender, race, age or personal care preferences—everyone gets a seat at our table.
Founded in 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden, Estrid has scaled from an ambitious three-person startup to a team of over 80, launched in 16 markets, built a community of like-minded people and gathered a team of exceptional talent—and we’re just getting started.

Join the adventure
We’re proud of the work we’ve done so far, but there’s much more to do. And we want it to do it better, bolder, and in even more unexpected ways. We’re reaching for the stars and beyond, and to get there we need amazing people. People who are passionate, ambitious, smart, and respectful. People who aren’t afraid of dreaming big and challenging the status quo. People from different backgrounds, with different approaches and world views. People that want to make a real difference. We look forward to hearing from you!

Occasionally a role will require Swedish, but most don’t, and we’ll tell you in the job ad if it’s needed. We have team members from all around the globe, so our everyday language is English.
Recruitment process
Our recruitment process consists of multiple stages, with the number of stages varying based on the role and its level of seniority.
Initial Meeting: The first meeting is usually with a member of our People team. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and address any initial questions you may have.
Hiring Manager Interview: The next meeting is typically with the hiring manager. During this stage, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the role, its responsibilities, and our expectations.
Case Study: Following the interviews, you'll be given a case study to prepare at home. This exercise allows you to demonstrate your skills and problem-solving abilities. You will then present your case to our team.
Final Step: As we approach the final stages of our recruitment process, the CEO often meets with the final candidate. This meeting provides a chance for a final alignment and discussion of the company's vision and goals.
We aim to make the recruitment process thorough yet engaging, ensuring a good fit for both you and Estrid.
Diversity & Inclusion
We know that we achieve great things when we bring diverse ideas to the table.
We aim to be a team that is as diverse and unique as our community and to be a team in which the people contributing to the Estrid story can bring their own unique perspectives, identities, and cultures to work each and every day and feel truly included.
Office experience
At Estrid we value our vibrant company culture built on trust, creative ad-hoc exchanges and inspirational teamwork. We believe that we make a difference when creating together and that team spirit, well-being, creativity and brand commitment strengthen when we meet and interact in person. We also believe that flexibility is a driver for performance and allocating space for focus or collaboration depending on the type of work is highly beneficial from many perspectives. Merging these beliefs means Wednesdays are our flexible day, allowing work from home, and the other days we’re at the office. Our offices are located in central Stockholm and London.
Good to know
During the last years, our team has grown rapidly. But our growth speed also means that sometimes the needs for a specific role change mid-recruitment process. Sometimes a role is open for application for a long period of time, and as long as it’s open you’re welcome to apply.
