Yeti, full-on dolphin or that sultry sexy 3-day stubble - what’s your summer go-to style?

I'm a dolphin gal - I loooove the feeling of silky smooth legs, I can find stubbly legs a bit itchy sometimes. But I'm slowly experimenting with body hair, and I want to give myself a bit of a break and maybe just let my pits get a little stubbly, or not stress if my bikini line isn’t absolutely perfect.

Do you feel pressured to shave during the summer?

Yep, I always have. I remember as a teenager I would worry about being smooth for the summer months before it even got warm. I was so worried about body hair, stubble, ingrown hairs and razor rash, and the thought of having any of those things visible filled me with genuine dread. Good times.

Does the media influence the way you feel about your body hair?

Yeah for sure, but actually in a really good way. I get to follow so many beautiful babes with a whole different variety of body hair, and with such amazing attitudes towards it (including the Estrid IG page of course). It really has shifted my perspective and how I feel about my own body hair.

Have you seen any change in the attitude towards body hair recently or is the norm still baby-bottom smooth?

Wellll, I think the norm is changing, or at least I see it as changing. I think the general attitude towards body hair seems to be relaxing, and personal choice is championed. We all deserve to be able to choose what we want to do with our body hair, and that seems to be becoming more and more 'normal'.

What would you tell your teen self about body hair if you had the chance? No time machine available (sry), but in theory.

I wish we did have a time machine! I would tell myself that it's OKAY to have body hair. My dad's side of the family is Lebanese so I naturally have very thick, very dark body hair (and a lot of it), and I spent my entire teenage years trying to fight all my hair. It was a fight I was never going to win because you know, genetics, but it's sad that I even tried.
